We started our journey in the Southern California Mojave Desert — life was busy and constantly moving, but something felt missing. After our son's serious accident, everything changed. What mattered most became crystal clear: family, faith, and living with intention.

In that season, we planted our first saffron farm, almost as an act of hope. Working the dry soil and harvesting by hand reminded us that the best things in life are rarely rushed. That farm gave us the courage to make a big leap and move our family to Oklahoma to fully pursue the life we'd been dreaming of.

Today She's Rooted Home represents more than saffron. It's about real food, real skills, and a slower way of life — learning to grow, cook, and create with your hands again.

Saffron is the bright red stigma of the Crocus Sativus flower. All three threads are removed and dried by hand, making it the world's most expensive spice — grown right here in Oklahoma, by our family, for yours.
